‘Nashville’ spoilers for season 5 tease that there are many stories left to tell and the cast is excited about the drama’s move to CMT. The country music channel recently released a short video clip and Charles Esten [Deacon Claybourne] and Jonathan Jackson [Avery Barkley] talked a bit about what Nashies can expect.
What did Esten have to say about not only the fifth season of ‘Nashville’ but also about ABC’s decision to remove the show from its line-up? During the short video clip Esten laughs, “Well, I never had a doubt for a second,” but then the actor got serious. “You can tell when it’s time [for a series to end], and it wasn’t time.”
Get ready for a brand new feel when the drama moves to CMT, the actor teases. “It’s all about the music on CMT.”
Jonathan Jackson thanked fans during the video clip released on the official CMT Nashville Facebook page. “It was such a rollercoaster for a while and all the Nashies went on the rollercoaster with us.”
The excitement over the new season doesn’t stop with Esten and Jackson. Creator and executive producer Callie Khouri had a few ‘Nashville’ spoilers for season 5 of her own.
Khouri is thrilled with the new showrunner Marshall Herskovitz and the new writing team. The changes that have been made have “breathed new life into [‘Nashville’], the executive producer revealed.
Another ‘Nashville’ spoiler from season 5 from the creator and executive producer reveals that scenes will be longer and there won’t be as many characters involved in the storylines. Charles Esten teased, “I loved what we did, but there’s something different I think about this season.”
In the CMT video clip Jonathan Jackson revealed to Nashies, “There’s a good feeling around the set.” It’s not just Callie Khouri, Charles Esten and Jonathan Jackson who are excited about the fifth season of ‘Nashville.’
Lennon Stella [Maddie Conrad] and Clare Bowen [Scarlett O’Connor] talked about the new scripts and their delight that CMT took a chance and brought ‘Nashville’ back.
It appears as if there will be many more seasons of ‘Nashville,’ which premieres on Thursday, January 5 on CMT, yet to come.
