The Bachelor alum Joey Graziadei opened up about competing in Season 6 of The Traitors, and he confessed that it’s a lot easier to watch the show than it is to take part. Now that he’s participated in the upcoming season, he said it gave him a new outlook on the show.
The Traitors Is Harder Than It Looks
Joey sat down with Brooke and Connor Make A Podcast on YouTube a few days ago, and during the interview, he said:
You know, it’s one of those shows when you watch and you are like, ‘Oh yeah, how are they not figuring this out?’ Just watch. It’s so hard, and now I have such a newfound respect for it.
From the couch, it might seem obvious who the Traitors are, but it’s a very different experience when you’re actually inside the castle trying to work it out.
Filming Without His Phone
One particular area of the rules that Joey Graziadei mentioned was not being allowed phones while filming. Joey believes it’s better that way. Remember, he’s used to filming because he was the lead on The Bachelor, so it wasn’t a new experience not having his phone in his hand.

He admitted, “That’s not a bad thing. Whenever you’re on an all-inclusive show where you’re just in it, they usually take away your phone. I think that’s a healthy thing.”
During the discussion about The Traitors, Joey Graziadei also mentioned his fiancée, Kelsey Anderson. While he was filming, she was managing his social media account, and he said that she still has some access to it.
In fact, he thinks it’s fun, suggesting, “I think we’re going to have to play a game moving forward like was this post from Joey or was this post from Kelsey?”
From Reality TV To Rom-Coms
Moving on from The Traitors, the panel discussed his other reality TV work. Brooke mentioned that he’s done The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars, and he also appeared in a full-length movie.
Joey Graziadei was worried about what people might think about the rom-com. Brooke said that he’s an authentic actor, while Joey said it was “a lot more fun,” moving from reality TV to acting. In particular, he loves holiday rom-coms, and he’s also a fan of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
Fans React
In the comments section of the podcast, plenty of fans talked about how great Connor and Brooke are at interviewing their guests because Joey Graziadei seemed so relaxed. They also loved Joey.
One person wrote, “Can I also just say Brooke did such a great job leading the more interview portion with Joey, Connor almost looked surprised w her bringing up his things hahah (ofc understanding he’s v v busy) anyway mama killed it.”
Another viewer penned, “speaking of rom coms, can we talk about the amount of times connor reached for brooke’s hand in this episode.”
But others chatted about Joey, with comments like this one: “I want Joey as my therapist.”
