‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) News: Camryn Grimes Discusses Break-Up From Real Life Boyfriend, Plus Mariah And Kevin’s Relationship

“The Young and the Restless” Camryn Grimes posted a Periscope yesterday In the live stream, she revealed that she recently broke up with her boyfriend, Chloe [Elizabeth Hendrickson] is certifiably crazy, and a production secret to the broken bottle over her head. Camryn was warm and charming, much like she appears on the CBS soap opera.

Camryn posted a Periscope, titled Disneyland, in which she answered questions while she waited in line to get on a popular ride. She was with two of her best friends. One fan commented that her scope made her smile- she hadn’t smiled much since her recent break-up. Camryn replied that she recently broke up with her boyfriend, Oliver and agreed it has been pretty tough.

Another question that kept popping up was whether Kevin [Greg Rikaart] is smart in real life. She replied that he is an amazing person and brilliant. She went on to say that she has thoroughly enjoyed working with him daily.

She announced that on today’s show, Chloe went crazy and lashed out on Mariah. Camryn also revealed that working with Elizabeth [Hendrickson] has been fun, and she’ll be sad when it’s time for Elizabeth to go. Camryn wouldn’t answer when asked how much longer Elizabeth will be on canvas, nor would she give hints to how the storyline will play out over the next few weeks.

One fan asked if it hurt when Chloe hit her over the head with a bottle.  Camryn explained that it was a breaking bottle, and it didn’t hurt at all. Essentially, it is a plastic bottle that cracks when it hits something and makes a very loud sound. She said when it hits you, it feels like a two-liter bottle that kind of bounces off your head. It doesn’t hurt very much at all.

Camryn teased that Kevin and Mariah will not be paired together. She noted that they were best friends, and failed miserably at being a couple. She said, “They love each other deeply, but it proved not to be romantic in nature. They have a bond that will prove to be important in the next few months.” Hmmm, Soap Opera Spy wonders what that could mean?

Camryn seemed to be enjoying herself at Disneyland and proved that even though she is a talented actress on “The Young and the Restless,” deep down, she is just like every other young adult her age. She is carefree, beautiful, and flawless.
