‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday December 28: Liz Begs Nik To Help Jason – Sam Finds Patrick With Robin – Tracy Blasts Paul, Throws Him Out

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for Monday, December 28 start with bad news for Paul, Liz, Jason, Sam, and Sabrina. There’s legal trouble, baby mama drama, broken hearts, and threats to come Check out what’s happening.
One bit of good news is that Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] is awake and out of danger, but still injured. Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] is loyally at his side. Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] shows up to check on him and make an appeal.
Liz will beg Hayden and Nikolas to change their statements to the police and swear that what Jason Morgan [Billy Miller] did to him was an accident. Neither Hayden nor Nikolas will change their stance. Both want to make Jason pay.

In the park, Damien Spinelli [Bradford Anderson] and Jason reconnect. Both are there with their kids and Jason is glad to see Spinelli but then it gets awkward when Spin starts asking about Jason and Sam Morgan’s [Kelly Monaco] relationship. The Jackal also believes Jason didn’t hurt attack Nikolas.
Sam shows up at Patrick Drake’s [Jason Thompson] place and walks in like she lives there. Whoops. Robin Scorpio [Kimberly McCullough] is there and she and Patrick look cozy. Patrick takes a moment to clarify for Sam that he is definitely back with Robin.
Will Jason tell Sam that he remembers giving her the snowflake necklace or will he take time to figure out what that memory means to him? This recollection is different because it came with feelings rather than just images in his mind.
Bad news also comes for Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi]. Tracy Quartermaine [Jane Elliot] tells him to get the heck out of the Q mansion and threatens to spill his dirt all over Port Charles. How will Paul talk her down so she doesn’t tell everyone about Ava Jerome [Maura West]?
Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell] also has bad news to deliver. Sabrina Santiago [Teresa Castillo] wants to know if Michael will stand by her side and play daddy to her baby. Will Michael look beyond her lie and step up? Doubtful. Everyone has warned Sabrina about that temper of his.

Looks like Michael might kick Sabrina to the curb – at least for now – but he may calm down later and rethink things. But once he tells his family about the baby mama drama, there will be no calming down Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright].
Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] enjoys face time with baby Avery thanks to Kiki Jerome’s [Hayley Erin] Christmas miracle, but there’s trouble brewing with all of his kids that Sonny has no clue will be exploding soon.

I think it’s time for Jason and Liz to be back together. They have more history together than all of Jason’s other partners put together. Liz did wrong and should be rdeeemed. Jason needs to find himself first and should not be the old Jason character.
You know, I personally had to step back and evaluate my reaction to this story. I realize that I need to see this story as it is. A soap opera with fictional characters and fictional stories. I have hated this Liz/Jason pairing this time because of the magnitude of her lies. I was thinking of it like this…if it were me, I would never disrespect and allow myself to be with someone who kept such a momentous truth from me. Who the hell is ANYONE to determine that they know what is best for me and take my decisions away from me. If I lost my memory, I’d expect the people who love me to help me recover what was lost. If I had a husband and a child, I would want to know. To deprive me of my family and my child would be treacherous to me.
Additionally, I hate that I feel so manipulated by the writers. Sam has had relationships since Jason’s assumed death, but they (the writer’s) made us watch her mourn him even when she was with someone else. She was never fully invested in any relationship because the guy was not Jason. Why have us watch that shit if Liz was going to be brought into the mix like this?
I know everyone on this show has done bad things, but this story for me is the worst. It does not help that I hate Liz. Let me say quickly, I’m not a huge fan of Sam either. I like her but she is not a character I look forward to seeing.
I’ve watched for so many years and like all of us fans, I have been there through every heartbreak and every triumph and I became invested in fictitious characters and relationships. So now I must view this story as the fiction that it is and relinquish my investment in outcomes. The emotions and championing must go to real causes.
