The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Gets Involved After Billy Blows Up
According to the latest Y&R spoilers, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is going to get creepily obsessed with baby Ruby and is going to be spending a little too much time at Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) home.
As previously reported, Adam’s secret visit with Sally and Ruby while Billy was away could create some serious problems for the newlyweds.
This, of course, is going to give Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a reason to be upset, as he is going to blow up on Adam for blurring boundaries.
After all, Sally and Billy just got married, and even though Adam was there to help deliver Ruby, she is still Billy’s child.
Because of the history between Billy and Adam and what happened to Billy’s daughter Delia, he has every reason to want Adam to keep his distance from his new family.
Needless to say, Billy will never forgive Adam for the hit-and-run that killed his daughter so many years ago.
And with Billy returning home to some troubling news about Adam, their longtime feud could be about to explode all over again.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is going to sense that something is off with his son.
Now, this doesn’t mean that he’s going to come to the rescue, but he is going to step in as tensions between Billy and Adam escalate.
However, Victor’s talk with Adam is also going to test their relationship, as Victor always believes that he knows best.
But Adam is not interested in hearing what his father has to say this time around.
For Adam, all he is doing is following what’s in his head right now.
His heart might be in the right place, but it’s his emotions that are going to get him in trouble.
As far as Sally is concerned, she’s also going to grow increasingly concerned about Adam, but at the same time, she’s going to wonder if she might have made a huge mistake letting him go when she did.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Adam?
Adam’s growing attachment to Ruby could also have something to do with the painful memories of losing his daughter Ava with Sally.
Still, Billy is Ruby’s father, and Adam might have to accept that there are boundaries he simply cannot cross.
Meanwhile, Sally’s feelings could become even more complicated if Adam continues showing up at her home.
Will Victor finally get through to Adam, or will his interference only make matters worse?
Annemarie’s Take
I can understand why Adam feels such a powerful connection to Ruby after helping deliver her, especially considering what happened to Ava. But that doesn’t give him the right to keep inserting himself into Sally and Billy’s new family.
And I certainly can’t blame Billy for getting furious! He’s barely had a chance to enjoy being a father again, and now Adam is constantly hanging around.
As for Victor, good luck getting Adam to listen. Those two have never been particularly good at taking advice from each other, and I have a feeling this conversation could get ugly fast!
Then again, Y&R fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
