Clearly, we are talking about actor Eric Braeden, who is best known for his role as Victor Braeden on the hit CBS soap.

He’s been playing the character for well over four decades and while there has been some speculation suggesting that he might be looking to retire from the daytime television world, don’t believe those rumors at all.

If that weren’t enough, Eric has also made it clear that even at his age, he’s still taking care of his health and is working out daily. He’s made no indication that he plans on slowing down anytime soon, both personally and professionally.

So for those The Young and the Restless fans that are worried about Victor Newman and whether or not his days in this fictional town of Genoa City are numbered, there really is no need to worry at all.

It’s clear as day that Eric Braeden has a fighting spirit and that he’s going to keep showing up to work until the producers of The Young and the Restless tell him not to. It’s pretty doubtful that’s going to happen, right?

What’s Next For Eric Braeden?

You can say that Victor Newman is a lot of things, but he’s certainly not a quitter. Plus, it also looks like he’s still got a lot of work to do in and out of the Newman ranch.

Let’s just say that life without him wouldn’t be the same for the Newman family or anyone else that has been in his orbit for that matter.
