Y&R Spoilers: Chelsea’s Baby Change of Heart, Wants New Pregnancy with Adam After All?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) might change her mind about a topic Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) brought up in recent months.

Chelsea previously rejected the idea of another pregnancy, but could she rethink her stance and ultimately grant Adam’s wish for another child?

After Adam found out Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was pregnant by Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), it stirred up some painful memories. Y&R fans will recall that Sally and Adam lost their baby girl, so her newest pregnancy naturally reminded Adam of that difficult loss.

Adam eventually decided to float the idea of maybe expanding his family with Chelsea. That led to Adam asking how Chelsea would feel about having another baby and suggesting it might be a daughter this time.

Chelsea wasn’t thrilled at the thought of being pregnant again and told Adam that she’d rather focus all their energy on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Of course, things have changed a bit now that Connor is off at boarding school. Adam and Chelsea obviously can’t concentrate on Connor if he isn’t around, so that could leave Chelsea feeling a void.

Chelsea can throw herself into work with Adam, but that’s not quite the same. Perhaps Chelsea will start to miss playing a more active role as a mom now that Connor has become more independent.

Plus, the birth of Sally’s baby is coming up, which is sure to affect Adam. It seems likely Y&R will take the soapiest route possible and put Adam in a situation where he has to deliver Sally’s bundle of joy.

Chelsea may have a front-row seat to a moment of connection between Adam and Sally as he helps with that delivery. It could leave Chelsea feeling jealous in a way and make her want to give Adam a new baby of his own.

Adam and Chelsea are going to need a fresh storyline at some point, so maybe she should have a change of heart about a possible pregnancy.

Perhaps Chelsea will decide she’s on board with a family expansion after all and shock Adam by suggesting they should move forward with having another child.
