Y&R Spoilers: Eileen Davidson Back In Action

Eileen Davidson has been a fan favorite on The Young and the Restless for decades, and has made Ashley Abbott a household name.

Earlier this month it was revealed that the actress had a bad accident and was off the set due to emergency surgery.  Davidson is on the mend now and back filming on the CBS soap set.

A couple of weeks ago, the Ashley Abbott portrayer took to Instagram and shared a photo of herself on crutches.

Davidson revealed in the caption, “I sure won’t be making those moves anytime soon! Slipped getting out of a cold plunge and fractured my patella. I’m gonna be down for the count for quite a few weeks recovering from surgery. Thanks to the EMTs and the great team at @losrobleshospital.”

Y&R fans flooded the comment section with well wishes.  This week, Eileen returned to Instagram and revealed that she was cleared to return to work at the daytime soap.  The actress shared images of herself on crutches in her dressing room, and thanked her friends and family for helping her get around.

Ashley Abbott’s Back

The Young and the Restless fan fave shared an update on her fractured knee and recovery so far.  In her Instagram post she wrote, “Apparently it’s true.  The show must go on!”

Ashley Abbott hasn’t appeared on the daytime show since August 18.  But, according to Y&R spoilers she will be on the canvas in time for her brother Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) wedding to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).  In fact, the scenes that Davidson is filming on set right now are probably for Billy’s wedding.
