A viral dossier about Meghan and Saudi figures appears online. But is there any truth to the sensational story?

Prince Harry and a secret Saudi dossier suddenly started appearing on social media, from TikTok through to YouTube. Recently, The News PK and The News International claimed that it’s a flat-out fake and simply reflects a lot of nonsense. The allegation goes that the various social media sites simply invented it for clicks.

Notably, mainstream media like The Telegraph and the BBC make no noise about it at all. But then, they are verified sources, unlike those anonymous profiles.

Some of them use AI voiceover and even fake video of folks like Piers Morgan. And, you can bet your last dollar that Piers would have something to say about it, if it was verified.

What About The Fancy Earings?

You might argue that the flash Chopard earrings worth half a million really exist. Oh yes, they do. In fact, Meghan Markle received them from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during a 2018 event.

Notably, they’ve been dragged up again and again, though the story’s years old and reconstructed. No, they were not given in lieu of hush money. So, it seems that clickbaiters simply use the theory for views.

Harry Distances Saudi Donor

Incidentally, Prince Harry keeps his distance from at least one wealthy Saudi donor. That came back in 2015. The New Arab reported:

The duke and his advisers, as well as his non-profit Sentebale, severed ties with Mr Mahfouz and his associates in 2015, no longer accepting further donations to Sentebale and discontinuing any plans for a fundraising event amid growing concerns over the motives for his support.

Distraction For Clicks?

It’s probably no coincidence that the conspiracy clips surface now. Obviously, with Prince Harry in court with his lawsuit against the Daily Mail UK, that’s getting a lot of coverage on mainstream media.

How to keep people coming back if you’re a small vlogger? Well, how convenient to distract royal family watchers with a story about a dossier shown to Prince Harry by his aunt, Princess Anne?

The report keeps appearing on vlogger accounts. However, none of them offer any proof. Viewers really should check the claims out. Like, who made it? Did any mainstream media report it?

No Mainstream Articles

In this case, it’s safe to bet your piggybank that you won’t find any mainstream media outlet reporting that Harry burst into tears when Princess Anne showed him the contents of the secret Saudi dossier.
