Grey’s Anatomy Fans Think Sandra Oh Is Returning, Here’s Why

Sandra Oh has always been a fan favorite among Grey’s Anatomy fans, even though Dr.  Cristina Yang hasn’t actually been on the show in over a decade.

Rumors are always floating around that the good doc might be returning.  But, this time around fans are certain that ABC just dropped a clue saying Sandra Oh is coming back.

Cristina Yang’s Exit From Grey’s Anatomy

Cristina Yang was one of the original characters on Grey’s and debuted in Season 1 of the ABC primetime drama.  Sandra Oh was front and center on the series until her exit in Season 10.

Dr. Yang’s final Grey’s Anatomy airdate was in May 2014, and she hasn’t been back since.  Oh’s character was written off the canvas and moved to Switzerland, but the door has always been open for her to return.

Fans of the TV show were devastated in Season 10 when Cristina made the shocking decision to relocate across the country to Zurich.

Before she left, one of her final scenes included an emotional goodbye with her bestie Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeio).

Is Sandra Oh Coming Back To Grey’s

Despite Sandra Oh shooting down rumors on a regular basis that she’s coming back, fans are convinced she might be.

This week ABC shared a photo of the iconic character on their social media account, and captioned it “Heavy On The Yang.”  Is the network teasing that Sandra is FINALLY coming back or is it all just a big misunderstanding?

In previous appearances and interviews, Sandra Oh told outlets that she was happy with her exit and thought Dr. Yang received the perfect sendoff.  She has made it pretty clear she’s not interested in returning, is it possible she finally had a change of heart?
