GH Spoilers: Troy Lennon Appel Teases New Character

General Hospital comings and goings reveal there’s another new face coming to Port Charles this summer!

Actor Troy Lennon Appel has reportedly joined the ABC soap’s cast as “Hudson.”  Appel is already filming and will be debuting next month, here’s what we know so far!

Troy Lennon Appel Joins Cast

General Hospital’s newest cast member was confirmed last week.  Appel is reportedly already on the soap’s set and is currently filming with the cast and crew.

This is the actor’s first daytime TV gig, but you might recognize him from TV movies like Revenge Best Served Chilled, Lethally Blonde, and Blackmail, Lies, and Murder.  This is Troy Appel’s first major acting gig.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Appel will be playing the part of a mysterious new character named Hudson, and he will arrive in Port Charles on July 30, 2026.

Per a new report from TV Insider, “A business executive with mysterious ties, Hudson is poised to make an impact in Port Charles, and Appel is already relishing his time on the soap.”

While chatting about his new soap character, Appel told the website, “Working on GH has been nothing short of an incredible, fast-paced experience.”

Appel’s casting is just the tip of the iceberg, there will be half a dozen new faces in Port Charles this summer and returning fan faves.

Another new character named Tristan Rogers is set to debut in July as well.  Plus, Serena Baldwin has been recast and will be played by Kelly Kreuger.

Word on the internet is that Hudson’s arrival on General Hospital will play in to a huge storyline on the soap, but so far no more details have been released.  Do you think Troy Lennon Appel will make a good addition to the daytime show’s cast?
