'GH' Spoilers Tuesday, June 16: Dante Defends His Team, Nina Demands Answers & Valentin Forces Carly's Choice

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, June 16 tease Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) mounts a defense, while Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) makes things worse!

Plus, at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) asks her to choose!

Key Takeaways

  • Dante goes on the offensive and defends his department against Justine Turner’s latest attack.
  • Chase’s confrontation with Brook Lynn creates even more tension at the Quartermaine mansion.
  • Nina and Willow pressure Brennan for critical evidence that could help locate Liesl.
  • Ross Cullum uncovers new intel that could change the hunt for Josslyn and Valentin.
  • Valentin asks Carly to choose between his freedom and Josslyn’s life in a heartbreaking dilemma.

Dante’s Defense

Dante goes up against Acting District Attorney  Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor)  as he mounts a defense for his squad.

He tells her “You come after me, not my department!” as if an acting district attorney had any authority over the police department in the first place!

Justine is not happy that Chase lost her the attempted murder case against Willow Cain (Katelyn Mac Mullen), and she tried to fire him for it, going way outside her authority.

It sounds like she’s possibly trying to get the whole squad fired, by the way Dante is responding.

Chase Makes Things Worse!

In the meantime, Justine’s original target, Chase, is just making things worse for himself at home, even though Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) agreed to drop the charges against Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).

He’s in the breakfast room at the Quartermaine mansion with Tracy and Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) and arguing!

Brook Lynn looks angry as he asks who does she think is more likely to lie, Tracy or Willow?

It looks like Brook Lynn is going to side with Granny as she’s obviously seething with anger; is Chase too far gone?

Nina And Willow Make Demands

In Monday’s episode, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) went to Carly’s house where she informed Carly and Valentin that her Aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may have been taken.

Carly did accommodate the worried woman by making a call over to the office okaying the security footage to be accessed and viewed.

However, Willow and Nina now are in Turning Woods with Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) and telling him the situation with Liesl, saying they need to get their hands on that footage right now!

Brennan may not be able to help a lot since he’s still not talking real well and may not be walking real well either, and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) demoted him and took all his files.

But Willow and Nina are desperate to find Liesl, since Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) downplayed the situation!

Valentin Asks Carly To Choose!

In the meantime, as Cullum gets new intel, Valentin and Carly are still in her kitchen, ahead of the raid of her home that will soon happen as shown in the GH weekly promo.

Valentin  asks Carly to make a choice; “If you had to choose between me going to prison and Josslyn Jacks, (Eden McCoy) which one would you choose?

Valentin knows if he uses the ex machina advice that Brennan gave him earlier, and contacts the mysterious Z to take Cullum and Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) down, he’ll go back to Steinmauer.

When given a choice between himself and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to search for and rescue Josslyn, Valentin told her to choose him.

So, with that being said, what will Carly choose?
