Big Brother Spoilers, Season 28: Who Ended Up On Top, America’s Favorite Player + More

Big Brother’s Season 28 is officially over, and while fans are sad that it’s done, the finale offered plenty of ups, downs, blindsides, and more!

Plus, audiences also learned who viewers voted in as “America’s Favorite Player”. Read on below for the details.

Who Won The Final HOH?

As fans know, Taylor and Devens won Round 1 and Round 2, respectively, of the final Head of Household (HOH) competition.

In the end, it was Rick Devens who beat Taylor out to become the last HOH. The competition centered on a trivia game about Big Brother and evicted players.

That said, when Devens was faced with voting for the final houseguest of the season, he went back on his promise of final two and ended up giving Drew the boot.

Devens and Drew had a ‘final two’ deal, and upon Devens winning, Taylor told Devens that if she was sent to the jury house, she’d get LaLa to vote for Drew if he evicted her.

Who Won BB?

It looks like Devens made the right decision. In a vote of 6-1, the Survivor alum, Rick Devens won Big Brother, Season 28. LaLa did cast a vote for Taylor.

However, Dee, Melody, Angela, Barrett, Yash, and even Drew voted for Devens to win the season and the $750,000 grand prize.

Who Won “America’s Favorite Player”?

He won BB 28, and Devens was also voted in by fans as “America’s Favorite Player”! Winning this prize came with $50,000, so in total, Devens is leaving BB Season 28 with $810,000 (if you include the “Pharaoh’s Curse” button he pressed to unleash that challenge that scored him $10,000).

Devens received close to 30% of the America’s vote, with Drew and Yash runners up, according to host Julie Chen Moonves.

While the Virginia news anchor participated in Survivor, twice (seasons 38 and 50) it’s clear he went out with a Big Brother bang, scoring major prizes and the top win as the final remaining Big Brother houseguest.
