Big Brother’s Season 28 continues to roll on, and we are getting closer and closer to the grand finale! SOS has all the details of who went home after double eviction night, the ‘Pharaoh’s Curse, plus Week 11 Head of Household update.
Double Eviction Night
On Thursday, September 17, Melody, Barrett, and Taylor were up for eviction. In the end, Melody won the Big Brother Block Buster, taking herself off the block.
That said, Barrett went home during the live eviction, as Drew, Dee, and Devens voted him out, while Melody voted for Taylor. Barrett made a quick exit, telling everyone he loved them, but walked straight for the door without any hugs.
Then the news of the Double-Eviction night was announced to the houseguests! A Head of Household (HOH) competition would take place, as well as a Power of Veto (POV) ceremony, all within moments of each other.
In the end, Melody ended up winning HOH and placed Dee and Devens on the block. For a moment there, it seemed as if a Survivor vet would be going to the jury house.
However, in an interesting twist, Devens pulled out a win for the POV, taking himself off the block. Yash was placed as a replacement nominee.
Ultimately, Yash was sent home by a vote of 2-1, with Devens and Drew voting to keep Dee, and Taylor voting to keep Yash.
Pharaoh’s Curse
During the Thursday, September 17 Double Eviction show, Big Brother host Julie Chen talked about the upcoming ‘Pharaoh’s Curse’, taking place on the Sunday, September 20 episode.
This would send a contestant out the door as of the Wednesday, September 23 show, leaving a final four for Thursday, September 24.
According to the Big Brother Network, when the feeds returned at 10:40 p.m. after the live Double-Eviction show ended, houseguests learned that ‘Pharaoh’s Curse’ had arrived.
Buttons had been placed all around the house, and when someone pushed the button, they’d unleash the Curse and also receive $10,000. It looks like Devens was the one to secretly push it.
Houseguests also found out about a rapid eviction occurring over the weekend. Melody wouldn’t be able to compete, and it seems there won’t be any nominations this week.
However, there is some sort of competition … which is underway right now as Taylor, Dee, Devens, and Drew compete for HOH.
With that said, fans should expect a Veto competition at some point next week, too. It’ll be interesting to see how things unravel!
