Kody And Robyn Drop A Season 21 Bombshell

The Season 21 trailer for Sister Wives has dropped and a bombshell was included in this first trailer dealing with this season. Kody Brown and Robyn Brown will not be taping this year according to the trailer.

“After 16 years of filming Sister Wives, Kody & Robyn will not be returning to the show,” the TLC trailer posts in black and white. Currently neither have commented on their exit.

Kody’s first ex-wife, Christine said, “I don’t know what it means. I have no idea.”

“I was flabbergasted, really, when I got the news,” Janelle Brown added.

“I was actually surprised when I was told that Kody and Robyn weren’t coming back to the show,” Meri Brown said.

Of course, fans know a lot has happened in the last few years and Kody and Robyn have not exactly been apart of the family. Last season Kody Brown did his apology tour and then tried to throw Janelle under the bus in the Season 20 tell all.

Kody literally accused Janelle of trying to cut Meri Brown out of the land deal. Fans know that Meri was the last of the OG wives to leave Kody in 2022.

Christine was the first wife to leave this overly toxic relationship when she walked away in 2021 after over 25 years together. Christine then met and married David Woolley in 2023.

Janelle also left Kody after a huge blowup and refused to reunite with him. Janelle recently announced her new relationship with Pete, who seems to be on this season as well. Meanwhile, Meri is moving on as well.

Christine And David’s Marriage Hits Trouble

Unfortunately, it seems that Christine’s marriage has taken a hit as she and David are seen attending therapy.

David can be seen saying that it is coming to the point of being me or them, referring to his wife versus Christine Brown. Is the show actually causing problems between these two, who have not known each other for four years even?

A look ahead also hints that a family reunion is in the future on the series as well as a memorial for Garrison Brown at an animal shelter.

This season looks at the three original Sister Wives and their journey moving forward after polygamy.

Can the three OG wives get along now that Kody and Robyn are out of the picture? Where will the show go from here?

Sister Wives Season 21 will premiere on Sunday, October 4 at 10 PM ET on TLC.
