Big Brother, Season 28 Update: Who Got Evicted On Thursday + New HOH for Week 9

Big Brother’s Season 28 continues to roll on! As we say goodbye to week 8 and enter week 9, SOS has an update on who was evicted during the Thursday, September 3 episode, as well as spoilers on who the new Head of Household (HOH) is! Read on to learn more below!

Who’s Out?

As most fans know, during week 8, Drew won HOH and originally nominated LaLa, Taylor, and Yash. Of course, Yash, being a competitive powerhouse, won the Power of Veto (POV) this week and took himself off the block.

Devens acted as a sacrificial lamb and offered himself up on the block (since he’d never been on the block over the past seven weeks). Drew took him up on it and placed his alliance member next to LaLa and Taylor.

With that said, Devens threatened that if he got voted out and placed on the jury, anyone who turned on him shouldn’t expect voting to go in their favor once the time came.

When push came to shove, Devens ended up winning the Big Brother Block Buster and was safe from elimination.

In the end, LaLa was voted out in week 8 in a vote of four to two. Dee, Yash, Devens, and Barrett voted for LaLa, while Angela and Melody voted for Taylor.

New HOH + Drama

It’s a good thing Devens won the BB Block Buster, as Dee and Angela (his main alliance from the get-go) were gunning for him as eviction day was coming.

Devens was nominated after the POV, so the two ladies realized this would be the perfect moment to get him out and get the target off the icons’ backs.

In an interesting twist, the Big Brother Network is reporting that Barrett has won HOH for week 9. He’s got his eyes on the icons and has promised to betray his crossover alliance the first chance he can … so … here’s his chance! Will he do it?
