Sister Wives: Christine Reacts To Janelle’s New Man – Reveals Pete’s Surprising David Connection

Sister Wives spoilers reveal that Janelle Brown recently announced that she has a new boyfriend and even shared a photo of him on her Instagram.

Christine Brown Woolley Shares Her Reaction

Christine shared her reaction to Janelle’s news about her new boyfriend by commenting on Janelle’s Instagram post. Christine also offers some additional information concerning “Pete.”

Christine posted, “He’s such an awesome guy!! They are so cute together.” Christine also added a connection that Pete has to her husband, David Woolley.

“And he’s a construction worker 👷🏻‍♀️ like David!!” Christine shared. Of course, Christine has been trying to get Janelle to move on since long before she left her 29 year spiritual marriage to Kody Brown.

Christine is very excited for Janelle and her boyfriend, Pete. Christine wants Janelle to be happy like her and David.

Janelle Brown Announces A Big Change

Janelle made an Instagram post on August 18 to announce that she had found someone new. “Some chapters are meant to unfold quietly before they’re shared,” she posted on her selfie with her boyfriend on Instagram.

“I wasn’t looking. I certainly wasn’t expecting you. And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I needed. And it has been pretty wonderful. 🩷Everyone please meet Pete.”

It has been four years since Janelle ended her relationship of almost 30 years with Kody Brown. Janelle was the second of Brown original three wives that eventually left Kody.

The big break with Janelle happened during COVID, but she held on until 2022 before officially leaving Kody and letting him know she wasn’t coming back. Janelle was also granted a spiritual release by the church.

The Original Three Wives Have All Left Kody Brown

Christine left Kody in 2021 and married David in 2023. Meri Brown was the last of the first three wives to leave which happened in 2023.

Fans are aware that Meri legally divorced Kody in 2014 so he could marry Robyn Brown and adopt her three children from a previous marriage. Now Robyn is the only wife that Kody has left.

In 2025 Janelle shared the following on a Sibling Rivalry podcast. “My marriage is over. I don’t know what I’m gonna do,” she stated at the time. “I’m not really interested in getting married again or even really dating at this stage.” Janelle was relieved after her spiritual release saying, “I have it. That was easy. I thought I was going to have to come back for a second meeting. I am free. I am free. I am free. I am free.”
