‘GH’ Spoilers: Sidwell Sets Sonny Up For Drew’s Shooting

General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply that the rivalry between Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will continue to heat up, so will Jenz set up the mob boss for Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting?

As Jenz has been talking about wanting to get Drew out of the way for a while now, there’s a good chance that he’s the one who shot the congressman in the back, twice. So, can he frame Sonny for the crime at this point?

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Sidwell has felt as if Drew’s been a deadweight in his plan for a hot minute. On top of everything else, he’s wanted Sonny out of the way so he can gain control of the Port Charles territory when it comes to his organized crime syndicate.

Framing Sonny for Drew’s shooting would accomplish one of these goals, as ending Drew’s life, unfortunately, failed miserably.

Still, as Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is currently the main suspect in the case, how will Sidwell accomplish this?

Could Sidwell attempt to take Drew’s life for a second time? If he were to strike again, could he try and frame the mob boss for it?

Sidwell could organize evidence to make it seem as if Sonny is the culprit for the second attempt at ending Drew’s life, and also create a scenario that proved Corinthos was behind the first shooting.

There’s been a lot of chatter from fans about wanting Drew off the canvas. If Sidwell is successful in getting rid of Drew, he’d no longer be a liability. Plus, making it seem as if Sonny was the culprit would send the mob boss to prison for life.

As Sonny has had plenty of run-ins with the law, a criminal record, and killing a congressman would undeniably be a life sentence. In addition, Drew would finally be out of storylines, which may make a lot of viewers happy!
