‘GH’ Spoilers Friday, October 31: Laura’s Showdown, Britt’s Risky Promotion, Jack’s Offer Rocks Lulu

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, October 31 tease Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) makes a proposition while Laura Collins (Genie Francis) chastises.

Also, Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) gets a new boss, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) gets dressed down, and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) gets fatherly advice!

Jack’s Proposition

At Bobbie’s, Brennan has a proposition for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), regarding it being more convenient for Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) to visit her father.

Jack asks Lulu if she would feel differently if Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) were stateside? (Check Out Our Weekly Spoilers, HERE!)

It appears that Jack is taking Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) suggestion seriously, although she surely wasn’t doing it out of the goodness of her heart!

Jack thinks that bringing Valentin stateside where Charlotte can have better access will end with Valentin giving him the intel on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) last project.

What he doesn’t realize is that Carly and Valentin are working together, to the end of taking him down-will Lulu feel differently?

Laura’s Chastisement

Elsewhere, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) is getting chastised by half- sister Laura Collins (Genie Francis) who can’t understand what’s gotten into him!

She’s obviously been brought into the loop about Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) selling the Quartermaine mansion to Drew Cain, (Cameron Mathison) and she chastises, “Why on earth would you do that, Martin?”

One reason might be because he’s in a drought of clients, but the main one is his thirst for revenge against Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).

Tracy ruined Martin’s life, having in put in prison for a stretch, and mobilizing all his exes against him. Not only that, but she was responsible for an injury that laid him up for a while!

Dalton’s New Boss

Presumably at Port Charles University, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is in an office where he informs Professor Henry Dalton he’s getting a new boss.

At that moment, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is coming through the door, and Jenz tells him he won’t be working with Britt, he’ll be working for her!

Who knew Britt knew anything about cold fusion, and possibly resurrecting people from the dead, or possibly human cloning?

But as much as Britt hates to think about or admit it, she obviously is her father’s daughter and likely heavily involved in his last project. But there is the leverage someone higher has over her, if she doesn’t do their bidding, her Huntington’s meds will disappear!

Drew’s Dressing Down

After being force fed humble pie at the Brown Dog bar by his brother, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) now Drew’s being dressed down by his ex-mother-in-law Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)!

Drew’s purchase of the Quartermaine mansion is part of his plot to throw Michael off his game. But Nina sees problems with his plot, or at least she thinks she does-or maybe wants to throw him off his  own game.

Nina gets in Drew’s face and warns him, if he does this, it’s going to backfire! Is Nina merely being desperate, trying to win her daughter Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) back and using Drew to do it, or does she have a plot of her own?

Fatherly Advice

In the meantime, Michael gets fatherly advice from his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as they sit at a table at the Metro Court.

It sounds like Sonny’s referring to Michael’s alibi-relationship with Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell).

Sonny tells Michael something draws the wrong attention to him-when it comes to keeping his children, having a relationship with an escort could definitely be a problem!

It may or may not keep him from being convicted of Drew’s attempted murder, because it’s obvious Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) plans to throw him under the bus to free Willow.

But looking down the line a little further, Sonny can see that Michael’s romantic relationship could ultimately be a problem in child custody court!
