Amy Slaton Slammed For Bad Parenting After Plea Deal

Amy Slaton features on the current season of 1000-Lb Sisters, and it covers the TLC star’s impending marriage and arrest. When fans saw some spoilers, they slammed her for bad parenting.; It came when she talked about her plea deal after she and Brian Lovvorn were arrested. 

Bad Decisions After Her Plea Deal

On the TLC show, Amy talked about her plea deal. She had no idea what that even was, but she thought it wasn’t a bad outcome for her. If you don’t know, she and Brian were arrested after a camel-biting incident. They were charged with possessing drugs and endangering her kids. However, she never got jail time. 

Amy Slaton said:

By the grace of God, the judge done granted our plea deal. At the end of the day, I’m like 100% relieved that we won’t be going to jail. I’m okay with taking parenting classes because I’m sure there are stuff that I could better on. I mean, my mama wasn’t the greatest parent and her mama wasn’t the greatest parent, so child care classes is probably better option for me anyway. I’m willing to do anything it takes to be a good mom.

On the TLC show, one of the controversial things that fans saw so far this season is that Tammy Slaton’s sister accepted a marriage proposal from Brian Lovvorn. In fact, a lot of them were shocked and thought that he looked high as a kite. As they also copped the charges on drug use together, and for endangering the kids, that made fans wonder ‘what the heck?'”

Possibly, her decision to marry Brian Lovvorn came after she presumably started going to parenting classes. One critic commented on YouTube, “Amy honestly is pissing me of this season, like girl not every moment is about you and you rushing marriage with a man you barely know…Worry about your kids, and get over yourself.”
