Y&R Spoilers: Nick Swaps Out Sharon & Swaps In Phyllis For Dumas Party Plus-One

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that during the Tuesday, June 3 episode, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) asked Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to be his plus-one for the Aristotle Dumas party in France.

Everyone at Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) birthday bash had been talking about it, and in a roundabout way, Sharon told Nick she had a little FOMO about not being invited.

He nicely agreed to take her, but could he withdraw this invitation and give it to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) instead?

Phyllis Summers Is On A Mission

The Young and the Restless spoilers remind fans that Phyllis is on a mission to meet Dumas in hopes that she can convince him to allow her to run Chancellor.

Phyllis organized an ambush of sorts during the week of May 26-30 with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). She travelled to DC with her bestie in hopes that she’d meet Dumas and wow him enough to convince him to bring her into his orbit.

With that said, it’s uncertain if she succeeded or failed at this attempt to meet the mysterious billionaire. During the Wednesday, June 4 episode, Phyllis will have a proposition for Nick.

If her meeting with Dumas was a bust, she likely won’t be invited to his big shindig in France. Should that be the case, will she beg Nick to be his plus-one?

Nick’s Dilemma

Nick knows how bad Phyllis is struggling in the aftermath of her kidnapping, while Sharon is doing far better than his other ex. Nick also feels bad that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) fired Phyllis from Abbott Communications and realizes that his ex-wife desperately needs a job.

As Phyllis will reason that she wants to go to the party for a business opportunity, versus Sharon, who just doesn’t want to miss out on some fun, will Nick withdraw the invitation from one ex-wife, so that he can give it to another?

Nick likely will promise to make it up to Sharon, but this move could add fuel to the fire where Sharon and Phyllis’ now-resolved rivalry is concerned. If Nick and Phyllis cross a line at Dumas’s party, could this further agitate Sharon?
