GH Spoilers: Victor Is Dead, But He’s Taking Someone With Him

General Hospital: Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) General Hospital spoilers reveal Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) might be dead, but soon, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will be wishing he had gone down with the ship, too. When Spencer snuck up on his great-uncle on The Haunted Star, he had every intention of stealing the pathogen and getting out of dodge.

Spencer had no way of knowing the whole place would be blown to bits in a matter of minutes, and the adrenaline high he left Greenland with isn’t letting him think clearly about what he did in those last moments with his sinister blood relative. But settling into things at home isn’t going to come easily to Spencer as he comes to terms with how his choices led to his great-uncle’s death.

General Hospital Spoilers — Guilt Tears Spencer Apart

According to General Hospital spoilers, Spencer has spent years running away from all culpability. He’s pretty good at it. But it seems as though Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has had a profound impact on the type of person Spencer wants to be — a good one. It’s quite the double-edged sword for the young Cassadine heir who just wants to take care of his baby brother and get on with his life.

But at every turn, there is the memory of slamming his great-uncle’s head on the bar and rendering him unconscious long enough to escape his clutches with the pathogen. Spencer knows he had no choice in the matter, but it’s not going to make it any easier to digest the fact that Victor would likely still be alive if he hadn’t been incapacitated and perished in the rubble of that drone strike.

GH Spoilers – Hint Cassadines Always Spiral

There is nothing that plagues a Cassadine more than matters outside of their control — except, possibly, for regret. Spencer can’t shake the feeling that he could have done more — or done less — to harm his great-uncle. It’s a hard knock life learning to kill someone for the first time, but hey, all Cassadine’s do eventually, right?

This isn’t how Spencer saw his young life panning out. A two-time felon who contributed to the death of one of his relatives. Wow, he really is a Cassadine. As he struggles to make peace with the decisions he’s already made, it’s going to have some pretty strong effects on his behavior and judgment. Watch out for that.

General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Can’t Save Spencer From Himself

Of course, things were just getting good — and quasi-stable — for Spencer and Trina. So, what better time to knock them off kilter? They may have met with a moment of passion when Trina realized Spencer was alive and well, but neither of them knew at that moment just how much Spencer would pay dearly for the decision to walk away from the ship that day and leave his uncle behind in it.

Spencer could have pulled his uncle out of the wreckage and didn’t. What does that say about him? For once, it’ll be him asking the tough questions as Trina tries to get him to move on. Will she lose him to his own guilt and remorse? Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers just ahead to find out.
