Counting On fans heard about Jill Dillard writing a book when Simon and Schuster made the announcement. Called “Counting the Cost,” it sounds like it will be a Tell-All-styled memoir. The news arrived when her appearance on Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets had just aired on Amazon. Therefore, interest in a book was at an all-time high. Now, she announced that she has a book tour planned. Will she be in your city? Read on to find out.
Counting On Spoilers – The Book By Jill Dillard Got Slow Family Reactions
Hardly anyone in the Duggar family seemed thrilled about the book. Jim Bob Duggar seemed angry that she’d taken things outside of the family. Mind you, that was mostly directed at her being in Amazon docuseries. It was Jinger Vuolo, her younger sister who reacted in an interview and she seemed excited to read it.
Counting On Fans seem way more excited about Counting the Cost. Actually, they are champing at the bit for it to drop. Many of them got excited because the TLC alum told them that Simon and Schuster had pushed forward the release date. Initially slated for early 2024, it now gets launched on September 12.
At the time, she said, “Due to y’all’s overwhelming support and interest in our story, we’ve been able to pull some strings and now the book is coming out four months earlier than initially expected!.”
