Meanwhile, Jill Dillard, together with her husband Derick made a name for themselves by standing up to her father Jim Bob Duggar. Her new book will be released in January next year. Conveniently, The announcement of her memoir came just before the premiere of Amazon’s “Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets” docuseries.

On June 5, People Magazine reported an interview with Jinger Vuolo, wherein she addressed why she didn’t participate in the “Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets” documentary. Jinger revealed that she had been approached but declined as she preferred to tell her story in her own way. During the conversation, Jinger mentioned her sister Jill by saying that she had spoken to her about the docuseries. Additionally, the former TLC star revealed her excitement to hear what Jill had to say in her upcoming book.
Well, it didn’t take long for the new “Counting On” author to react. Taking to her Instagram Stories on June 6, Jill shared a screenshot of the article. In her response, she said, “Thanks for the love, sis!” Further down, she added, “And yes, acknowledging for yourself the actual harm in a group like that is the first step in finding your voice. Next, she wrote, “Secondly, realizing the degree to which people are still being harmed gives you [the] courage to use your voice to help others.”
