Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis And Her Childish Ways, Will She Ever Change?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers show that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) have been feuding since there were dinosaurs walking the Earth and if it were up to Phyllis, this century-old battle would never end.

Diane has come back to Genoa City (perhaps not under the best circumstances) to reunite with her son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and be a part of his life after all of these years. While there seems to be a lot of confusion and people wonder what exactly she may be up to, they’ve been willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and let her live her life.

While Diane has seemingly been playing nice as much as she can, it does still feel as though she is hiding something and there is an ulterior motive as to why she has come back. However, Kyle seems to have given his mother another chance, as has Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Phyllis on the other hand has begun allying herself with everyone she can to take Diane down and force her back out of town or discover if she’s hiding something. She whole-heartedly believes there is something else going on and won’t back down from her pursuit of the truth.

However, in doing so, isn’t Phyllis just proving to everyone that she is in fact the one who hasn’t changed?

While it seems that Diane has done everything she can to right the wrongs in her life and continue being a part of the family as best she can, Phyllis is seemingly the one who can’t move on and won’t forget the past. It’s like she’s still stuck in high school and at her reunion, she sees Diane with her life together and just can not stand it!

Phyllis is the one who hasn’t changed and is still as childish as ever, yet continues to play the blame game with Diane, saying she’s the one that is causing all the problems. Maybe take a long look in the mirror Phyllis.

Sure, I understand those of you who believe Phyllis is right, and she very well could be, but is this really the right approach to take if you want to be taken seriously?
