Y&R spoilers for the week of September 12 reveal that Diane’s story will continue with some unexpected twists and turns. Diane catches Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in a lie. So, Diane could connect the dots and realize she’s being set up to fail at Marchetti.

Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) gets into a debate with Victor. The Newman patriarch will try to get Jack to change his mind about giving Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) a job. However, Jack doesn’t care how many people hate his decision. Jack is going to stand firm, including in his fight with Victor.

Jack will also extend an invitation to Diane. Elsewhere, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) tells Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about her plan to meet Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

Fans can also expect Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to tell Victoria about his concerns. Nick tells his sister that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) doesn’t seem as passionate about her job anymore. Nick will also tell Victoria that the problem is likely Adam.

Nick and Sally will end up engaging in passion. It is teased that Adam almost catches them in the act. Even if Nick and Sally keep their tryst under wraps, Adam does sense their sizzling connection.

Also, fans will meet Audra Charles on September 23. It is teased that Audra arrives in Port Charles on business. Apparently, she is a hotshot executive that is involved with one of Genoa City’s big businesses. So, maybe Audra is Sally’s replacement or she could be doing damage control for the Newman family. We will have to keep watching to see what happens next.
