However, Nate felt this was a mistake and wanted to get the media as well as the public pumped about their new projects.

In the middle of Nate’s speech, he answered reporters’ questions. It was clear that the reporters were annoyed that there was no juicy announcement. So, Nate took Imani Benedict’s (Leigh-Ann Rose) advice and blurted out the podcast idea.

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) clearly wasn’t happy about Nate announcing they would do 50 podcasts in just a few weeks. Nate even mentioned what the podcasts would be about. However, Nate felt it was the right move and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) seemed really impressed since it created a buzz.

Even though Adam getting a podcast idea off the ground with Newman Enterprises might not hurt Chancellor-Winters, something related could. What if Adam pushes to get more than 50 podcasts out, maybe even 100, and in less time than Chancellor-Winters? If they beat them to the punch, doubled the number of podcasts, and used a similar theme, it could set up an intense rivalry.

If Newman Enterprises does this, then by the time Chancellor-Winters gets their podcasts out, the buzz will fall flat. This could really impact Chancellor-Winters’ success. It could even cause Billy to sneak around trying to steal one of Newman Enterprises’ ideas.
