As excitement builds for the Supernatural prequel series, The Winchesters, The CW keeps dropping teaser trailers. However, the latest post is a terrifying official poster for the new horror show. Read on to see the new poster, along with the latest teaser for The Winchesters.

The original series, Supernatural, ran for 15 seasons and fans were distraught when it finally came to an end. However, viewers will now get the chance to find out more about the Winchesters by following the meeting of John and Mary.

The prequel is set to air on The CW on Tuesday, October 11 at 8 pm ET, and the excitement is growing. The CW previously released a couple of teaser trailers for the series and has now released another trailer along with the official poster for The Winchesters.

The new series is written by Supernatural alum Robbie Thompson and is narrated from the perspective of Dean Winchester, voiced by Jensen Ackles. Meanwhile, the show will tell the epic, untold love story of how John and Mary met. It also reveals how the couple put everything on the line to not only save their relationship but the entire world.

In the storyline, John Winchester returns home from fighting in Vietnam. Meanwhile, a mysterious encounter sparks a new mission to trace his father’s past. Along the way, he crosses paths with 19-year-old demon hunter, Mary Campbell. Coincidentally, she is also searching for answers after her own father disappeared.

Eventually, John and Mary join forces with a young hunter, Latika, along with easygoing hunter Carlos. Between them, they endeavor to uncover the hidden truths about both families. Along the way, they visit a rare book emporium, whose owner Ada is interested in the occult. She could possibly provide some of the missing pieces to the puzzle.

However, the secrets run deep for the Winchesters and the Campbells. Meanwhile, despite the efforts of John’s mother Millie to protect her son, John and Mary are determined to work together. They work to keep up their families’ legacies while starting a family of their own.

About the cast

Meg Donnelly (American Housewife) stars as Mary, while Drake Rodger (The In Between) plays John Winchester. Meanwhile, NId Khurshid (Station 19) stars as Latika Desai and Jonathan “Jojo” Fleites as Carlos Cervantez. Moreover, Demetria McKinney (Tyler Perry’s House of Payne) plays Ada Monroe and Bridget Regan is pirate radio DJ Rockin’ Roxy. Also starring is Bianca Kajlich (Halloween: Resurrection) as Millie.

The series comes from Warner Bros Television and CBS Studios, with Glen Winter (Supergirl) directing and executive producing the pilot episode. Supernatural star Jensen Ackles and his wife, Danneel are executive producing via their company Chaos Machine Productions. Moreover, Winter and Thompson are also executive producers for The CW series.
