Prince Charles Misses Grandchildren, Has Yet To Meet Baby Lillibet

As royals’ fans surely know the Prince of Wales hasn’t seen his 2-year-old grandson Archie since he was 6 months old. He has never met his granddaughter Lillibet who was born in June. According to The Mirror, the proud grandfather invited the Sussexes to his home for the first time since Harry and Meghan quit their royal roles and moved to the United States.

Per The Mirror, an expert has said that reunion may never happen due to Prince Harry’s decision to sue the British government for the security he gave up upon stepping down from his royal duties.

Prince Charles’s attempt to mend the rift between him and his son may have been in vain as Harry suggests that the trip would come at “too great a personal risk” due to the security issues.

As royals’ fans know, the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will be in June, and many expected that Harry and Meghan would make the effort to attend. According to The Mirror, Harry had already made plans to attend a memorial service for his late grandfather Phillip that is planned for April. However, that too may be in doubt over the same security problems.

Experts Say Harry Is ‘Spoilt,’ Could Be Further ‘Alienated’

Many in Britain feel that Harry is being a “spoilt child” and that the result may be that the Queen may further “alienate” her grandson. After exiting The Firm in 2020 Harry’s relationship with the Royal Family has suffered. Things were made considerably more strained after Harry, 37, appeared with his wife, Meghan, 40, on the Oprah Winfrey show to spill the beans.

In the interview, the couple lamented the treatment they have received from the Royal family with Harry complaining that his father had cut him off financially. Also, paramount in the interview were the racist remarks made about the color of their yet-to-be-born child’s skin.

Sources close to Charles have indicated that Harry and his father are on the road to mending things between them. Be sure to keep up with everything Royal and return here often for more Royals spoilers, news, and updates.
