Chrisley Family News – Focus Is On Family

Chrisley Family news reveals that, according to PEOPLE, Lindsie is emphasizing that “the focus is on family” as the Chrisley Family patriarch and matriarch Todd and Julie Chrisley gird themselves to serve relatively lengthy prison sentences. Though their prison sentences remain very real and present this holiday season, Todd and Julie are still hopeful.

Todd, 53, and Julie, 49, were sentenced by a federal judge last month after a jury found them guilty of numerous financial crimes. Todd was handed a 12-year prison sentence with a side of 16 months of probation and Julie received a smaller sentence of seven years with the same 16 months probation. They’ve now been ordered to report to a Florida prison on January 17 (via CNN).

Chrisley Family News – Live Every Day Like It’s Your Last

The longtime couple, who married in 1996, has maintained their innocence throughout and has even submitted an appeal already. Unfortunately for them, they will still have to remain behind bars in a federal prison throughout the appeal process.

As the couple’s prison sentence creeps ever closer, Lindsie says her parents are making the most of the time that they have. “My parents regularly say, and I believe they’ve said on their podcast as well, that at this time it’s basically living every day like it’s your last, enjoying the moment, spending time with their kids that are in Nashville,” she shared.

“Of course, I’m spending time with my parents over the phone because I also have shared custody [with my ex-husband William Campbell]. So, I don’t have the luxury of being able to just pick up and go to Nashville and be there until January,” the Coffee Convos co-host continued (via Insider). “But my parents are definitely dedicating their time in therapy and their biblical studies as well as with their children.”

Chrisley Family News – Deeper Public Scrutiny

The past several months that been hard, not just for Todd and Julie whose woes are understandably great, it’s also hit the entire family hard. Lindsie said her family is still “adjusting to [the] new normal.” Some of that “new normal” apparently means handling deeper public scrutiny.

The Southern Tea Podcast host testified in court on behalf of her parents but had also been accused of having “some type of participation” in her parents’ criminal behavior but she assures that this is not the case.
