Lindsie Chrisley Vows To Fight Court Battle After Georgia DUI Arrest

Chrisley Knows Best fans best know Lindsie Chrisley distanced herself from her controversial dad, Todd Chrisley. So, it might feel a bit disappointing that yet another family story involves a run-in with the law.

Of course, given the notoriety of Todd’s family, many people on social media presume guilt instantly. When @ellebee_official shared the news about an arrest on Instagram, many reality TV fans had something to say.

One of them wrote in the comments, “WTH is going on wow.” Others couldn’t get over it, with comments like, “My heart hurts reading this.”

Meanwhile, comments arrived presuming guilt: “WHY DO PPL STILL DRINK AND DRIVE???!!!!”

Well, in terms of true crime and traffic legislation, Lindsie Chrisley, like everyone else, is presumed innocent for now.

Careful Phrasing

People carried the story about the Chrisley Knows Best alum, and they were careful to frame it as “Suspicion of DUI and Attempting to Elude Police in Georgia.”

Many social media posts forget to explain the concept of the charge, “DUI less safe.” Not that it excuses the reported facts that the outlet obtained.

One of those facts noted that “In Georgia, DUI less safe means that an individual can face charges of driving under the influence even if their blood alcohol concentration is below 0.08%.”

What Happened?

Multiple outlets explained that Lindsie Chrisley allegedly ran afoul of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday in the wee hours of the morning.

Page Six explained that her arrest didn’t end up in a long-term jail stay. She came up with about $6K bail money and was released.

Among the DUI charges, police accused her of attempting to “elude, reckless driving, improper lane change and speeding.” If you think the daughter of Todd Chrisley’s going down without a fight, you’d be wrong.

Fighting The Charges

A statement to TMZ noted her version includes a story about an incoming potential accident.

No doubt her defense team will argue that she pushed the speed up getting around “a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and [she] was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was.”

Interest Might Be High

True crime and reality TV fans will probably follow the case because Lindsie intends fighting it out in court. Interest should be quite high because back in April a big fallout came.

At the time, her now ex, per TMZ, David Landsman claimed that Lindsie Chrisley punched him. However, she claimed that David behaved aggressively and tried to strangle her.
