GH Spoilers: Victor’s Ultimatum: Valentin Must Choose — Charlotte or Anna?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) is at it again – and he’s not going to have any mercy or sympathy to show his son, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). As Valentin plots to circumvent his father, Victor will pull a trump card like Valentin has never seen. Does this Cassadine patriarch have the power to bring Valentin to his knees?

General Hospital Spoilers – Charlotte Cassadine Is Still Missing

Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) has been gone for months, and Victor is very well aware of how much it pains her father, Valentin. Everyone knows Valentin holds nothing closer to his heart than his little girl. Victor has stowed her away out of Valentin’s reach, making him every bit as much an emotional hostage to Victor as Charlotte is a physical one.

Valentin thought he would’ve been able to bring Charlotte home by now, but Victor’s list of deeds he expects Valentin to fulfill just keeps growing. Others are starting to grow concerned now, too. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has checked in a few times asking how Charlotte is doing, noting she can’t reach her and asking Valentin to tell her to call Nina.

But more importantly, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) took notice. His current love interest knew Valentin’s stories weren’t adding up. Only a fellow WSB agent would pick up on the bits and pieces that didn’t align with what he’d previously told her. When Anna confronted him, Valentin chose to let her in — and let her help, instead of continuing to lie and cover for Victor. The pair — Vanna — is now dedicated to bringing Charlotte home together.

GH Spoilers — Anna DeVane’s Next

Unfortunately, Victor is about to throw a wrench in their plans. Soon, he’s going to catch on that Valentin has let Anna in on the hostage situation. Faced with having to outsmart not one, but two, WSB agents, Victor might devise a plan to trap Vanna on their hunt to take him down. Seeing how well his hostage takeover with Charlotte has worked to get Valentin to bend at his will, Victor may template the plan for Anna — taking her hostage, too.

If Victor is holding both Charlotte and Anna from Valentin, the next step for any good bad guy is to force Valentin to choose between the two halves of his heart. It will be an impossible choice, and Valentin may have to bring in reinforcements — like Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Mac Scorpio (John J. York), and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) — to help get Anna and Charlotte back. But what will Victor threaten if Valentin involved anyone else?
