General Hospital Spoilers: GH Comings And Goings: New Top Cop Cast On Show

General Hospital: Rory CabreraGeneral Hospital (GH) comings and goings reveal a brand-new cop in town named Rory Cabrera. He will be a contract player, but not much is known about his character.

General Hospital Spoilers – Who Is Rory Cabrera?

Michael Blake Kruse has been cast in the role of Rory, a rookie cop who joins the PCPD. Since the soap usually only has two male cops at a time and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is back making arrests, does that mean it’s over for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)? Does he find a new job as a singer for Deception, singing tunes that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) writes?Or maybe he becomes a private detective. Or may GH will go with three male cops at once?

Kruse took to social media on Monday after the news broke about him joining General Hospital. He simply tweeted, “I’m the new cop,” before posting a photo of himself in a uniform on the PCPD set. “OFFICER CABRERA REPORTING FOR DUTY, SIR. I mean, ma’am. I mean Commissioner Ashford,” he tweeted.

According to IMDB, Kruse has appeared on such shows as “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Everything’s Fine”.

GH Spoilers Who Might Rory Cabrera Be Paired With?

There are rumors that Rory might be a member of the Wu family and is possibly Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look)son who insists on being on the right side of law. Perhaps he is the Dante of the Wu family, as Dante’s dad is mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

As for possible pairings, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) certainly likes cops and since there is no chemistry between her and Austin Holt (Roger Howarth), this one could work. That would free Austin up to be with someone he does have chemistry with, namely Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Or maybe he is coming on the canvas as a new love interest for Britt as GH doesn’t seem to want to make Austin and Britt happen. Either way, it will be nice to have some fresh new blood on the canvas who isn’t a conniving woman with long, straight hair. Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Esme (Avery Pohl) are almost the same, so a male character can have any number of women on the show as long as it doesn’t turn out he is related to any of them. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see Kruse’s debut.
