DOOL Spoilers: Clyde And Ava Become Friends?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that there could be a nice friendship between two ex-cons who have been trying to go straight – even though one of them has severely backslidden in recent months! Could birds of a feather go straight together in future episodes of Days of Our Lives, and Clyde Weston (James Read) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) become friends?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers- Ava Vitali Is A Good Cook, And She Could Teach Clyde Weston A Few Things

Ava is a very good cook, and she tried to get a job in one of the restaurants in Salem several months ago on Days of Our Lives; but no one would hire her because of her past. Clyde would have had the same problem, had it not been for Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) giving him a chance as a short order cook at Brady’s Pub at Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) behest.

There isn’t any support group for ex-cons in Salem, although it seems like they have more than the average town has considering Salem isn’t the biggest town in the world; although not everyone in Salem has done prison time, many have. And even of those who haven’t done outright prison time, most have committed some kind of crime; Statesville Prison has work training but there is no job placement or halfway houses!

DOOL Spoilers – Salem Could Use Another Restaurant, Salemites Love to Eat Out!

Salem could always use another restaurant, because people are always eating out; and sometimes when people can’t get hired by someone else, they become very entrepreneurial. Salem has Brady’s Pub, The Bistro, and Julie’s Place, but they don’t appear to have a good Italian restaurant, and just about everyone loves Italian food; maybe Ava could get Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) to help with startup money.

The last thing Clyde and Ava want to do if they become partners in this new restaurant venture is use mob money, even though Ava could get some! Ava could handle the heavy lifting but even Clyde could make simple things like pizza and boiling pasta. Days of Our Lives viewers know that Clyde could even build tables and chairs and help build the décor of their new restaurant venue since he learned woodworking in prison!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – The New Restaurant, If Doable, Would Be A Community Service

Days of Our Lives viewers know that if Clyde and Ava could get their restaurant off the ground, it could be a real community service, considering there are so many in Salem with prison records. Perhaps they could get a property that used to be a hotel or motel with a restaurant space, and make it into a combination restaurant where outgoing parolees could work and have a place to stay as well.

The Salem city leaders would have to approve such a project, and perhaps someone like Eric Brady, (Greg Vaughan) who is coming back to Salem to stay would want to be involved. After all, people who make mistakes in life and want to do better can get a lot of counseling and help from someone like Eric; and many of them have drug or drinking problems that contribute to their crimes – Eric’s got lots of experience helping with that!
