Sarah doesn’t appear to be a hostage and thinks Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is protecting her. Although Sarah wants to reunite with the man she loves, she never mentioned Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Could this be the unexpected twist that’s been teased?

DOOL spoilers reveal that fans finally saw the real Sarah during the week of January 31. Sarah was being held in a bedroom on a deserted island. However, she didn’t appear to be a prisoner. In fact, Sarah was strangely acting as if she was BFFs with Kristen. Plus, Sarah seems to believe that Kristen is protecting her from some kind of danger.

Another interesting tidbit from that episode was Sarah appearing as if she was in a daydream. Sarah kept gazing out the window dreaming of being with the man she loved. However, Sarah never said Xander’s name. So, is it possible that Sarah is pining after another man… such as her ex, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder)?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Kristen DiMera’s Tainted Pies

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Kristen brought Sarah her favorite dish, which was a peach pie. Interestingly enough, this is the same dessert that Kristen offered to Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). There is a good chance that the peach pies are drugged, probably with the same substance that made Sarah incoherent when she was shipped off nearly a year ago.

If Sarah has been repeatedly drugged since her kidnapping, it would make her easier for Kristen to control. It would also prevent Sarah from screaming her head off, which always annoys Kristen. Plus, it stops Sarah from trying to escape.

Another reason Kristen would keep drugging Sarah is for damage control. If Sarah is found, it’s hard to prosecute Kristen for kidnapping if the witness claims she was there of her own free will.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Unexpected Twist

Head writer Ron Carlivati told Soap Opera Digest that Sarah’s return to Salem would feature an unexpected twist.

“Abigail will soon realize she’s not alone on the island. So, the stories are starting to converge and while they’re trying to get away, they ultimately come face to face with Sarah. I will say that her return has an unusual twist.”

Could the drugs have wiped Sarah’s memory of Xander? Will this be another case of partial amnesia, similar to what Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) went through with Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal)? How will Xander react when Sarah is found, and what does it mean for Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) future?
