Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of May 16 reveal that the race is on to save Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Baby Bo Weston. Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) is one of the characters that jumps into action to save Allie’s life and soul. Unfortunately, a major character and fan-favorite will die so Allie can live.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Allie is still possessed by the devil. Allie has kidnapped Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) newborn son. The clock is ticking to save both Allie and Baby Bo. Not only is there a physical search for the pair but some Salemites also try to reach Allie using unconventional means.

During the week of May 16, everyone will gather together to try and locate Allie and Baby Bo. A major showdown takes place but not everyone will survive.

DOOL Spoilers – Tripp Johnson’s Death

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, it is confirmed that a fan-favorite and major character dies. In his quest to save Allie’s life and soul, Tripp goes above and beyond. Allie does get saved but Tripp loses his life in the process. That’s right, Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) son passes away.

This will be really hard for both of the characters to deal with. It will also be heartbreaking for Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). Not only was she Tripp’s mentor and boss but his stepmother as well.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Long And Painful Recovery

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Allie will be horrified by everything the devil did while possessing her. Allie will go through a lot of pain and guilt, especially since Tripp is dead because of her. It is teased that Allie will go through a very long recovery. This might not necessarily be physical but more mental and emotional.

DOOL Spoilers- Salem Mourns Loss

Steve, Kayla, Ava, and Allie won’t be the only ones dealing with the devil taking Tripp’s life. Everyone who worked with Tripp at the hospital will be shocked by his sudden death. Plus, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) had begun to bond with the young doctor. It is stated that the town of Salem will be devastated and heartbroken by the tragic death.

This might also be what brings Steve and Kayla’s daughter back to town. As previously reported, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is coming back to Salem.
