DOOL Spoilers: Tripp’s Death Confirmed, Lucas Adams Explains Sacrifice

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Tripp Johnson’s Realization

DOOL spoilers reveal that Tripp proposed to Allie. Tripp wanted to spend the rest of his life with Allie and help her raise Henry Horton (Nash and Clyde Gunderson). However, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) aka “JoDevil” exposed Allie and Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) night of passion.

Despite Tripp being betrayed, he hasn’t stopped caring about Allie. When Tripp faces a “blast from the past” in the cemetery, he rushes off to find Allie.

DOOL Spoilers – Last-Minute Realization

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest magazine, Adams explained Tripp’s realization about Allie.

“Tripp still very much cares about Allie. That’s something that he’s finally realizing with all of this. He also realizes that he has to do whatever it takes to get to her and make sure that she’s safe.”

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Devil’s Deadly Demand

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that while Tripp is searching for Allie, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) save Baby Bo Weston. A possessed Allie flees and goes to St. Luke’s loft. Tripp and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) confront Allie, who is still possessed by the devil. Allie is about to set the entire building on fire.

Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), John Black (Drake Hogestyn), and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) also arrive. The trio attempt to perform an exorcism on Allie. However, the devil threatens to kill the young mom. This is when Tripp realizes he has to save Allie and will sacrifice his own life to make that happen.

DOOL Spoilers – Lucas Adams Explains Suicide

The devil ends up jumping from Allie into Tripp’s body. The devil tries to force Tripp to kill Allie. However, he fights with every ounce of willpower he can muster. Finally, Tripp realizes there is only one way to end the devil’s reign of terror without putting anyone else at risk. With the devil still inside of him, Tripp jumps out of the church tower window.

“He’s doing whatever he can to protect all the people that he loves, because he finally has so many people who love him. In his mind, he’s like, ‘I’m going to protect them the way they’ve always stood up and protected me.’”

Tripp is rushed to the hospital but it’s too late. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) has to tell Tripp’s loved ones that he’s gone. Expect a lot of fallout after Tripp’s death. Even though Allie is back to herself, she will go through tremendous guilt. Stay tuned to find out what happens next.
