Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Craig’s Return Explained, Leo’s Jailhouse Confrontation

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) returns during the week of September 19. After Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) arrested, Craig shows up to visit her ex in jail. Craig claims that he feels bad that he brought a killer to Salem. However, there could be a more sinister reason for Craig’s visit.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gwen Rizczech’s Text Message

DOOL spoilers reveal that Leo meets with Gwen and asks for her help. Leo must really be in a desperate and frantic state to turn to Gwen. Even though the two used to be close friends, that changed when Leo lied about Gwen confessing to killing Abigail DiMera (formerly played by Marci Miller).

When Leo meets with Gwen, he will insist that he didn’t kill Abigail. Leo will also share his theory on who is framing him for murder. However, Gwen has already taken action by texting Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Before Leo can get away, he is arrested and brought back to the police station.

Leo knows he is being set up and thinks he knows by who. Head writer Ron Carlivati told Soap Opera Digest,

“Leo broke Craig’s heart and Leo thinks Craig is possibly doing this to get back at him. Gwen wonders if Craig is capable of killing Abigail and stabbing Sonny [Kiriakis, played by Zach Tinker] just to get revenge on Leo, but Leo thinks it’s possible that Craig has gone over the edge, and it’s right at that moment that Craig conveniently shows up in Salem.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of September 19 reveal that Leo will tell Rafe that Craig is framing him for murder. However, due to all of the lies that Leo has told, Rafe doesn’t believe him. So, Leo is put behind bars.

However, Leo is soon visited in jail by Craig. The doctor claims that he has returned because he feels guilty that he brought Leo to Salem. Craig plays it as feeling “responsible” for Leo committing these crimes. Craig claims that if he never came back to Salem in the first place, then Leo wouldn’t have come either and Abigail would still be alive.

DOOL Spoilers – Revenge And Murder

However, head writer Ron Carlivati teased that Craig very well could be Abigail’s killer. Fans have been waiting a long time to find out who really killed Abigail. The wait is almost over and when the truth is unveiled, it will send shockwaves throughout Salem.

“It will shock Salem and impact lives beyond Abigail’s friends and family.”
