Last Friday Sean Carrigan was seen back in Genoa City as Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn. He debuted back in 2013 and left in 2017.

He was Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) ex-husband. And things did not end well. Do things ever end well for Abby? You would think that with her DNA life would be a cakewalk but more often than not it’s a nightmare.

When Stitch left he went to Iowa to help his young son recover from brain surgery in a long-term care facility.

The son came between Abby and Stich in a most horrific way. He was jealous of the bond between Abby and Stitch and when a new baby was on the way he devised a scheme that led to loss and heartache.

As a result of the malicious action Abby lost her baby and the marriage could not withstand the tragedy. Now Stitch is back, where is this going to lead? It appears that Stitch is still sweet on Abby but she has definitely moved on. She is remarried and expecting a child.

Abby is expecting via Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) but her husband is MIA. Does Stitch already know this and has come to fill the gap?

The characters got caught up and this led to lots of reminiscing and what if’s. We can tell you that Stitch is back for a short stint, but that can always change. Would you like to see Abby reconnect with Stitch or should she hold out for her daredevil husband to come back hopefully for good? It will be interesting to see why Stitch was brought back for a short period of time. Does it have to do with the baby, maybe he ends up delivering it, perhaps even saving it?
