Royal Family News: Princess Beatrice Wants To Start a Family In A Manor House In The Cotswolds

Princess Beatrice British royal family news reveals that nearly a year on from her wedding to Edo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice is looking for a large family home in or around the Cotswolds. They tied the knot last July in a socially distanced wedding at Windsor Castle with just 15 friends and family including the Queen and the late Prince Philip.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple looked at a large property in Oxfordshire that comes complete with a “party barn” and a swimming pool, with a price tag of around £3 million.

According to the source, “The owner was very excited Bea had been round, though she tried to keep it quiet.”

The house would seem to be ideal for Bea and Edo as Prince Harry’s friend George Spencer-Churchill and his wife Camilla reside next door.

The Cotswolds is also an excellent location for social whirlwind Beatrice to visit with her friend Kate Moss who lives in Little Faringdon.

Bea’s friend Ellie Goulding is also in the Cotswolds which is the locale of the Daylesford Estate which is managed by JCB magnates Lord and Lady Bamford.

The source spills that the home Bea has toured is a short drive to the town in which David and Victoria Beckham live as well as Bea’s widowed mother-in-law. The couple stayed with her MIL in her £1.5 million home during the lockdown.

If the couple does move Beatrice would give up her £20,000– a year four-bedroom apartment in St. James’s Palace. Bea and her sister Eugenie shared the residence for several years, but the news is that Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank, and their infant son are now living in Windsor’s Frogmore Cottage.

When Bea and Edo were dating they raised a few eyebrows with their living arrangement. At the time Bea resided in New York and Edo lived in the London family home he bought for his ex-girlfriend Dara Huang and their son Wolfie prior to their split.

The arrangement involved Wolfie staying in the home while Edo and Dara took turns sleeping over. Now Dara is planning a move to Belgravia with her new partner.

According to another source, the pair are looking forward to starting a family of their own. The source dished that, “Edo is keen to give Wolfie a brother or sister, and a sprawling manor house would be the perfect place to start their family.”
