Royal Family News: Prince Harry Is The Butt Of Jokes Over His CHIMPO Job Title

British royal family news reveals that even when Prince Harry, Duke Of Sussex’s tries to better himself he is the butt of jokes. It seems his new Chief Impact Officer job title comes with some unwanted inside slang that has peeps howling behind the scenes.

The 30-something finally has a job, even though it sounds like a made up one, and because its acronym is CHIMPO Britons found the humor in that.

Now people in Japan are finding more humor as the acronym has a distinct meaning there. Not exactly one Harry was looking for we suspect.

Harry was given a job by BetterUp Inc., a San Francisco-based start-up. Some in Japan are now laughing at Harry, not with him, because the word chimpo in Japanese is slang for a part of the male anatomy that women do not share.

Japanese news website SoraNews24 posted social media reaction to Hollywood Harry’s job title, with one sharing, “Imagine if he came to Japan and introduced himself as a ‘chimpo’ to officials? I’d love to see their faces!”

Another posted, “It doesn’t matter what age you are, the word ‘chimpo’ always raises a smile.”

Prince Harry is now in the UK following his attendance at the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip on Saturday. He was made Chief Impact Officer (CHIMPO) of BetterUp Inc. in March, the same month he and his wife bitterly complained about the need for a job in the first place to Oprah Winfrey. In a televised tell all seen by millions, 36-year old Harry accused his dad of cutting him off financially, apparently leading to the need to become a chimpo.

Harry promised the royal family he would not cash in on his royal credentials and apparently with his chimpo job he’s managed to keep his word.

As chimpo, Harry has a full say in “strategic” decisions and his mug features prominently on the firm’s website with the words, “Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex.”

Some outlets have made hay of the fact that Harry’s boss has refused to say whether Harry is being paid a salary. Maybe Harry just likes having a new title.
