Royal Family News: Buckingham Palace Issues Statement On Meghan Markle’s Bullying Allegations

British royal family news reveals that Buckingham Palace has released a statement in response to the report accusing Meghan Markle of bullying palace aides. The allegations of mistreatment were made against her during the short stint she had as a UK princess.

The statement from the palace read: “We are clearly very concerned about allegations in The Times following claims made by former staff of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

“Accordingly our HR team will look into the circumstances outlined in the article,” the statement continued. Members of staff involved at the time, including those who have left the Household, will be invited to participate to see if lessons can be learned.”

The Palace capped off its statement about Meghan-gate with: “The Royal Household has had a Dignity at Work policy in place for a number of years and does not and will not tolerate bullying or harassment in the workplace,” the statement concluded.

The whole sordid affair with Meghan Markle’s name attached to it began when The Times in the U.K. reported that a bullying complaint was lodged against Meghan by one of her close advisers. In response, Markle’s spin team denied the claims.

According to Meghan’s highly paid PR doctors, “The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.”

The PR team went on to say, “She is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good.”

Markle and her husband Prince Harry will have a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday and they have promised to air all the dirty laundry from their time at the palace.

According to The Times, the complaint was lodged in October 2018 by Jason Knauf, the couple’s former communications secretary. The formal complaint stated that Meghan Thee Duchess drove two personal assistants out of the palace and undermined the confidence of a third staff member.

According to the article, Knauf lodged the complaint in order to protect palace staffers who claimed they were mistreated by Markle. Some claimed they were reduced to tears by the then-princess, with one aide saying, “I can’t stop shaking.”

A source further alleged that Harry begged Knauf not to pursue the complaint.
