Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) has not been in Salem for seven months and several news outlets said his portrayer was ill. The first rumor was that the actor had a heart attack, but his wife Sherry Rooney and daughter Jennifer Aniston said this was not true. There were reports Aniston was seen walking with a cane and also riding in a motorized chair. When questioned, the actor said all was well.
