Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) has been beside himself for months. He knew Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was alive and finally found her, only for her to have no memory of their lives together. She didn’t even want to know anything about falling in love with and marrying The Necktie Killer. To that end, she left Salem with Theo (Cameron Johnson) to start a life in South Africa and sent Ben divorce papers.

Ben has refused to sign the divorce papers and even burned them, but Claire (Isabel Durant) talked him out of flying to South African to talk sense into his amnesiac wife. On Thursday, Rafe (Galen Gering) has a talk with Ben and gives him some very good advice about what to do about Ciara. After all, Rafe was her stepfather and knows her very well. We know Victoria Konefal is returning to the soap soon, so is this the start of her return?

Speaking of Claire, she’s also been through quite an ordeal as Jan (Heather Lindell) kept her hostage for a few weeks. She also thought she found the right man a few months back only for him to turn out to be a crazed rapist and then be killed. Now that Claire is free and Belle (Martha Madison) is no longer accused of murdering Charlie (Mike Manning), Claire has a big surprise for her parents. Should Shawn and Belle brace themselves?
