Rumors Have Been Swirling That The Former Duchess Of Sussex Will Make Her First Red-Carpet Moment At The 2020 Met Gala

Even though she followed the rules and traditional of the British Royal Family, she is a normal woman with her own hopes and desires. She found the royal family very restricting and Harry agreed with her. Now that she’s free to do whatever she wants, she’s excited about the upcoming high-profiled events in her post-royal life. Meghan is rumored to attend the 2020 Met Gala on May 4 in New York City alongside British Vogue editor Edward Enninful.

She’s been working with Enniful to guest-edit her “Forces for Change” issue, according to an insider who spoke to The Sun. “The Met Gala is for the Who’s Who of show business. Naturally Meghan was one of the first names on the guest list, and Edward’s team are excited that the two will go together.” However, another report claims that the rumor is simply not true.

A Source Told Bazaar.Com That She Has A View Low-Profile Visits In Her Schedule When She Returns To The United Kingdom

Contrary to The Sun’s report, Meghan will not be attending this year’s Met Gala. A source confirmed to Harper’s Bazaar that the duchess will “absolutely not” be attending fashion’s biggest night, which happens every May. Meghan returned to London this week to complete her final rounds of royal obligations alongside her husband, Prince Harry. Even though Harry has gotten a head start on his engagements, Meghan’s work has been kept secret.

A source told Bazaar.com that she has a view low-profile visits in her schedule when she returns to the United Kingdom. “Meghan will be conducting something private and patronage-related meetings during her time in London,” the source said. It’ll be Meghan and Harry’s first public outing together since they announced their decision to step back from the royal family.
