The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Remains Greedy and Manipulative –Should Abby Follow Chelsea’s Lead?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) swatted away Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) multi-million dollar offer to buy her shares of the Grand Phoenix hotel. While the written figure was apparently three times more than what Phyllis’ fifty percent stake is worth, there’s seemingly more value in owning the business outright.

Phyllis appears to see the hotel as more than a current and future profit source. Her as yet unrevealed scheme also involves increasing her power in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Abby told Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) that she was going to give Phyllis a win. Thinking that all Red wanted was money, Abby tapped into the half-billion dollar bounty that she, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) each secured from their father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), during the last decade.

But Abby’s cash offer was initially rejected. Ordway’s character pressed Phyllis shortly after the push-off took place, only to be told that more time was needed. Then a planned event happened that was orchestrated by Stafford’s fierce alter ego.

Seen on the phone in one sequence encouraging an unknown party to pursue so-called justice. Then, in the later sequence with Abby, Phyllis was present when a process server presented legal papers.

A guest is suing the Grand Phoenix due to supposed health aftereffects that exist following the Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) hostage arc. How that person came to contact Phyllis is rather soapy, along with the timing happening on the same day that Abby’s buyout offer was made.

Abby got the message, as Phyllis told her that the hotel must be cursed and that she’d be better off selling out, rather than seeking to obtain full control.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Unsure Of Future

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) doesn’t see Phyllis as a threat, despite the Las Vegas, Nevada, secret she now knows. Chance feels differently.

Not having battled Phyllis in the past, as Adam has, Chance believes that Phyllis will continue blackmailing him and Adam. There’s reason to take this opinion seriously, as Phyllis’ endgame isn’t yet apparent.

Phyllis is going to continue hounding Abby, with her goal being full control of the property in question. Other measures are sure to be taken to force Abby’s hand, as this game of poker isn’t one that she’s familiar with yet.
