CBS The Young and the Restless updates and spoilers dish that Hunter King, who plays Summer Newman on CBS’s The Young and the Restless, has quite a polished resume aside from her star turn in Genoa City.
The beautiful and talented star recently talked to Soap Opera Digest about her start in the business as well as her big Emmy wins on Y&R, a show she’s been on for eight years.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Skyle Fans Love Summer Newman And Kyle Abbott Together
First off Hunter had a few things to say to Skyle fans, and they’ll no doubt be happy to hear that she thinks they are a good match for each other. Part of the reason is that they grew up together and they have loved each other in every stage of life. “I think they’ve just been through so much together as friends and as a couple,” she said.
As for these two remarrying, Hunter is ambivalent. “I don’t know,” she admits, “we’ll take it slow and we’ll see.”
Y&R spoilers – Hunter King Got Her Start In Soaps On Hollywood Heights
According to Hunter her desire to be an actress came when she was just 6-years old. Her first soap credit was on the Nickelodeon soap Hollywood Heights playing mean girl Adriana. There she met several Y&R co-stars like Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) and Robert Adamson (Noah Newman).
This is funny now because Abby and Summer are bitter rivals on Y&R! But Hunter says that she adores Melissa, and there are days when they can’t stop laughing in the middle of a serious scene.
She also recalls that her first love scene was with Robert who made her feel very comfortable. To this day they remain good friends.
