The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas Involuntarily Committed – Forrester Family Must Make Tough Decision?

The Bold And The Beautiful: Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers reveal Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is in a very troubling place in Los Angeles right now. As Bold and the Beautiful viewers know, Thomas is conversing with a mannequin that looks just like Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle). It’s pretty disturbing for viewers to see Thomas go down this path, and while it might seem a bit campy at times, we have to remember that it’s all being done to show just how much Thomas is losing his grip on reality.

Thomas clearly has a very serious mental illness, and he’s tortured by the things that the mannequin is telling him to do. The mannequin represents the dark side of Thomas’ psyche, and the “good” side of his psyche seems to be in a constant battle with the darker side that tells Thomas to things like kill Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). The fact that Thomas is having the battle is a good sign – that is, he’s not just doing what the mannequin tells him to do.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Moving The Stroyline Along

Well, at some point, this storyline is going to have to move along. After all, it’s been several days now and viewers keep seeing the mannequin demand the same things of Thomas, while Thomas is tortured over the whole thing. Ultimately, Thomas is going to have to go into inpatient treatment for his disorder, but how is he going to get there?

One possibility is that Thomas will try to act on one of the mannequin’s directives and he’ll get caught. For example, Thomas could try to actually murder Liam, and law enforcement could realize that Thomas is suffering from a mental illness. But there is another possibility here – and that’s that Thomas will no longer be able to hide his symptoms from others, and his family will have to act on his behalf.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester In Crisis

One can only imagine how Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), or Eric Forrester (John McCook) would react if they were to actually witness Thomas in crisis, as he’s hearing voices and acting like the mannequin is alive. Right now, the only person who’s sounding the alarm about Thomas is Liam, and no one believes him about Thomas being potentially dangerous.

Of course, Liam isn’t operating under the theory that Thomas is severely mentally ill. Liam throws around words like “deranged” and “psychopathic,” but he really doesn’t know the extent of Thomas’ illness. What if Ridge or Steffy were to come to Thomas’ apartment and see him in a full-blown episode with the mannequin? Ridge or Steffy would have to act.

We’ll see what happens, but at some point, Thomas will have to get treatment, and he’ll have to get there somehow. Thomas’ family may commit him, which would be a terrible situation for Ridge and Steffy to be in. But it, unfortunately, seems like this is where things are headed.

Do you expect that Thomas’ family will have to have him involuntarily committed? Stay tuned to B&B and remember that SOS is your go-to source for the latest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, daily episode recaps, and news.
