Spears) kicked off in 2009 and has been growing strong ever since on the Los Angeles based sudser. It’s clear that having been reel life buddies for years has had an effect on their real-life bond. When asked to name a quality that each admires in the other, Diamont referred to Spears’ “ability to adjust on the fly and his openness to collaborate.”

Spears praised his costar’s ability to adjust to whatever situation they find themselves in and his dedication to taking his job seriously.

The infamous Dubai location shoot also came up during their joint interview. Spears said he enjoyed being out of their normal office environment and not in a suit and tie and of course referenced the insane helicopter scene in which Bill directed pilot Justin to, “dump Ridge in the ocean. The two also joked about the scene in which Bill made Justin put on lipstick and kiss a pillow as one of their favorites. Spears said that Diamont had too much fun making fun of him that day but, “we laughed so hard.”

The pair also talked about their families; Don has seven kids and Spears has five. “We totally keep up with each others’ kids,” said Diamont. “Man we definitely love our kids,” echoed Spears, “He’s a crazy family dude.”
After remembering the good time they had at one of their kids’ football games, the men vowed to make more time for fun together in the future. “Once all this crazy Covid mess has blown over. We’ve got to get together more, man, because we have a good time together,” said Diamont.

Indeed, once Covid is gone, everyone will have reason to celebrate.
