General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Left Shocked By The Truth – Cassadine Fortune Goes To Nikolas

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) isn’t who he thought he was. When the codicil to Mikkos Cassasine’s will was found, it’s contents revert the Cassadine fortune back to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and his heirs and it disinherits Valentin. But even more shocking was the claim that Valentin isn’t Mikkos Cassadine’s son. Even worse for Valentin, it states that Valentin is actually Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) child.

GH Spoilers: Helena doesn’t treat her own children all that well

Helena once murdered her own daughter, so it comes as no surprise how much she hated Valentin. She once said that Valentin scared her more than any other Cassadine. This is because she knows how dangerous her own offspring can be because he comes from her genes. It would be just like Helena to make sure he own child got nothing after she died. Besides Nikolas has always been her favorite so although she made it difficult for him, she gave him a way to get his fortune back,

When Nikolas demanded a DNA test, Valentin agreed without hesitation because he doesn’t believe the claims in the codicil. But once the results come in, Valentin will be devastated. He has always defined himself as a Cassadine and being the son of Helena will be devastating. The good news is that it means Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) isn’t a Cassadine by blood either, which should come as a relief to her mother Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).

General Hospital Spoilers: No claim to Wyndemere

Not only will Valentin lose his wealth but also his home. He has been living at Wyndemere since he shot and almost killed NBIkolas a few years ago. It is kind of fitting that Valentin isn’t who he thought he was, given how he messed with the true identity of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) daughter. Nina would never wish this kind of pain on Valentin though, as she still has no idea who her daughter is.

A chance to reinvent himself

This is a perfect opportunity for Valentin to reinvent himself. He seems to be doing exactly that on some level, given his newfound interest in ELQ. But is also a change to stop lying and manipulating and become someone not burdened by the Cassadine blood!
